There are at least 2 people who have read my blog. I am up to £5.00 on my www. justgiving.com/lewisjohn to raise money for Oxfam. 5 quid! c'mon people- it's a 100 km race for chrissakes. Does that impress no-one?

Maybe I should change my tactics. Please note I am also seeking to raise money for the Severnside Chlamydial Conjunctivitis Foundation (SCCF). We're looking to hold some big events with special appearances from our very brave patron. Watch this space.

chlamydial conjunctivitis

I won't be bought by people. I need to bring to your attention an attempt to buy a name mention on the I am Lewis blog. People forget that I am Lewis so I will name drop who I like. Be careful- don't sleep around. I have a friend in work who may be blind before she gets to 30 because she loved men a little bit too much.

Striving for the white moment

I had to give Steve's Soccer School a miss last night. The cough is starting to fade now and am back on the court tonight and tomorrow in search of the white moment.

I'm looking forward to a big game tonight against my work nemesis Carrie. She's not bad for a girl. She owes it to me tonight to try hard, to dig out each point and lay it all on the line. She's trying hard to share mine and Briggsy's non-competitive vision of competition: squash players united in service to this demanding game, and, through it, to each other. Remember that triumph requires selflessness; we win by losing ourselves. On the court as off it, we are all in this thing together. Bring it on.

I love burgers

Training's been on a go slow for the last week. Due to a cold/flu thing which I haven't been able to shake and a few technical issues with Claude I'm struggling to increase my training efforts which I need to be doing now. As a consequence my diet has also gone downhill. I write to you with a halfpounder cheeseburger and chips inside of me. I love burgers.
